How do I become a translator with Simply Translate?
Register with Simply Translate as a translator, and we will send you a questionnaire by e-mail. If you meet our requirements, we will send you a test translation to gauge your knowledge and skills. If you pass the test, then we create an official profile for you, and you can complete official translation projects.
Do I have to be registered as a translator with the Chamber of Commerce?
If you live in the Netherlands, then you must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce. If you do not have a valid ‘KvK’ number, then you unfortunately cannot work with us. Should you have questions about this, please contact us.
How do I get a translation project?
We offer translation projects based on your translation specialities. When we have a matching translation project, we send you an e-mail with the customer’s preferences (for example, the language combination, deadline, instructions and the rate). If you are the first to respond, then the translation project will be awarded to you.
I responded for a project, but have not received a project confirmation. Why not?
If you have not received a project confirmation, then the project has not (yet) been awarded to you. Contact your community manager for more information. Note: do not start working before you have received the project confirmation. This prevents misunderstandings.
