Our mission
The founders of Simply Translate were born and raised in the Netherlands, a country well-known for its mercantilism and strong desire for innovation. We strive to have these century-old characteristics shine through in our daily activities. Due to a boundless entrepreneurial ambition and background in business administration, communication and information technologies we understand like no other that communication is the key to really any success.
Since the start of our organisation in 2013 our mission has been to make international entrepreneurship as simple as it can possibly be. Simply Translate strives to break online companies’ language barriers through qualitative human translations, with the help of smart technology. Our objective is to help at least 20.000 online companies cross the border before the start of 2018.

Jeroen van Benten
Founder & CEO
Jeroen (1986), has a background in international business administration. His passion for entrepreneurship originated during his study. After leading several businesses for five years, he found what he was looking for in Simply Translate. He strives to continuously innovate and has a leading role in the international expansion of Simply Translate. In his lunch break he prepares delicious salads for the entire team. In his free time he reads a lot, trades in shares and enjoys to go out wining & dining.
Milou Buiter
Co-Founder & COO
Milou (1989) has a knack for languages: she is able to make herself understood in five of them. With her master in persuasive communication she understands the needs of our client as no other. Because she herself was active as a copywriter and a ghost writer, she is always on the lookout for new talent. She is our go to person when it comes to knowing what qualities young professionals should possess. During the weekend you can spot Milou strolling markets, always searching for things untested and chatting to international and local people.
Dennis Rosenbaum
Co-Founder & CTO
Dennis (1988) is an experienced software developer with a broad knowledge of the development of complicated web applications. He has a background in technical information technologies and is responsible for the technical management of our platform. Adjacent to this he developed the system that makes our translators life easier! Once a week Dennis hosts a Hackaton with a friend, which results in many new ideas. Next to this he goes out to eat at least two times a week.
